NASA LADEE (Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer) program, to study moons exosphere December 18, 2009 -- OPCO Laboratory is working with Dr. David Landis, President of Aurora Design & Technology, to manufacture custom optical components for instrumentation in the LADEE program, a robotic spacecraft, that will orbit the moon. Its primary mission is to characterize the lunar exosphere and dust environment. OPCO will provide custom mirrors and optics for the Ultraviolet‐Visible Spectrometer, as well as for the telescope, that will direct light into the spectrometer.
