OPCO has an extensive capability to produce Reflective Coatings on a wide variety of substrates.

OPCOs proprietary Protected Silver, IBAD coating, is an ideal choice for high performance, durability, and for those substrates sensitive to stress and heat. Standard Aluminum coatings have a significant absorption band in the near IR, which is absent with this coating.

 

Also, compared with Aluminum coatings, our Proprietary Protected Silver, IBAD Coating provides exceptional visible performance between 450nm and 750nm with higher reflectivity to 98%. These coatings can be cleaned repeatedly with isopropyl alcohol and soft tissue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The X-HARD™ Coating has a higher level of performance over a standard UV-Enhanced or Al+MgF2 Coating. X-HARD™ Coatings can be cleaned repeatedly and maintain a high reflectivity in the UV below 300nm with broadband reflectivity performance in the Visible.
